Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about setup, switching and stable Telegram access through SilaNet.

Why are there two proxy buttons?

They are primary and backup servers on different domains. If one is temporarily unavailable, Telegram can use the other one.

Can I use only one proxy?

Yes, but it is better to add both and enable auto-switching. That makes the connection more stable.

Do I need to reconnect the proxy every time?

No. After the first import, the proxies stay saved in Telegram. Then you only enable or disable them in settings.

What if the link does not open Telegram?

Try opening the page in your phone browser and press the button again. If it still does not work, add the proxy manually using the values from the “Manual setup” block above.

Does this work on Android, iPhone and PC?

Yes. SilaNet proxy works in Telegram on mobile devices and in Telegram Desktop.
